The Electricity Market Research Laboratory (EMRL) is dedicated to research aimed at providing a safe, reliable and optimum generation, distribution, conversion, measurement and control of electric energy. EMRL’s areas of concentration include modeling and simulation of electricity markets and power system dynamics; security assessment and stability enhancement for power systems in the restructured environment; and power system planning and optimal operation that ensure supply security, market competitiveness, and environmental sustainability.
