Last June 22-26, EEEI teaching assistants and fellows attended a five-day workshop for elective assistants in cooperation with our industry partner, Analog Devices Inc.
The workshop aimed to train faculty members, teaching assistants, and selected staff in using ADI Edge Intelligence Development Platforms to support the co-development of teaching resources for the Institute’s embedded systems elective course. Through this activity, participants will gain hands-on exposure to development platforms and workflows that will help strengthen instructional materials and laboratory exercises for the course. Topics include CodeFusion Studio, ADALM2000 and Scopy, MAX78000 peripherals, mixed-signal integration, and Zephyr/RTOS workflows.
For the first four days, the workshop was held at the new ADI Software Innovation Hub. On the last day, Analog Devices Inc. invited participants to ADI BGC for the culmination of the 5-day workshop, introducing their software and hardware designs as part of the ‘Train-the-Trainer’ program. The workshop included familiarization with ADI’s devices and planning for integration into EEEI courses.
