The Mobile Robotics Laboratory's (Mobot) areas of research focus on mobile robots and intelligence agents. Its research thrusts include almost every aspect of electrical engineering, e.g. power electronics, instrumentation and control communications, embedded systems, artificial intelligence, and operating systems; and a little of computer science, mechanics, biology, and philosophy.
Sample researches under Mobot Lab are as follows:
- ROSEMARIE : A Robotic System with an Expandable Modular Architecture (Published in Proceedings of the 13th Philippine Computing Science Congress, March 1-3 2012)
- A Web-based User Interface and Monitoring System for an ATRV-based Mobile Robot Platform (Published in Proceedings of the 11th Philippine Computing Science Congress, March 4, 2011, p146-150)
- Autonomous Road Navigation using Monocular Camera and GPS on an All-Terrain Robot Vehicle (ATRV) Mini Platform (Published in Proceedings of the 11th Philippine Computing Science Congress, March 4, 2011, p23-26)
