I am currently a full-time PCARI research fellow for the Resilient Electricity Grids project. My project involves designing an optimal contract between an energy distribution utility and commercial establishments so that the commercial loads will generate energy during energy supply shortages. We take methods from machine learning, computer networks, microeconomics, and stochastic control to design the online contract. The main output is to be able to provide a set of schemes for the implementation of the Interruptible Load Program.
