Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering

The Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering program (MEng EE) requires 31 units of coursework and a comprehensive examination. This program is ideal for those who wish to pursue a career in the industry and those who eventually want to pursue a Doctor of Engineering (DEng) degree. This program is also suitable for students who wish to specialize is selected EE areas and/or upgrade their knowledge through wide variety of advanced courses. Full-time students are expected to complete the requirements in two years and part-time students in three years.

Major Subject—refers to any an creditable graduate-level EE course offered by the UP EEEI that is relevant to the area of specialization

Elective—refers to any creditable graduate-level course that has been recommended for approval by the adviser and the Institute Graduate Program Committee; provided that all prerequisites of the course have been satisfied.
